Barry Judge of the County Court of Kane County, in the State of Illinois, the Petition of the undersigned John Phealen respe fully represents that Jeremiah Phealen, late of the County of Kane aforesaid, departed this life at Elgin in said County, on or about the 27th day of November A.D., 1872, leaving no last will and testament as far as petioner knows or believes. And this Petition further shows that the said Jeremiah Phealen died seized and possessed of Real and Personal Estate existing chiefly of Horses and Wagon all of said personal estate being estimated to be worth about Tow Hundred ($200.00 dollars). That said deceased left surviving him John Phealen, Patrick Phealen, Brother(s),and Ellen Hollehenm Margaret Phealen, Mary Phealen, his sisters, Robert Phealen his father and Mary Phealen his mother as heirs.
