WILL of HERMAN HENRY KIRCHHOFF * * * * * * * I, H. H. KIRCHHOFF, of the town of Hampshire, in the County of Kane and State of Illinois, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, ordain, publish and declare this as and for my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills or codicils by me made. FIRST: I direct that my executor hereinafter named, shall pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my death as the convenient administration of my estate will warrant, and shall also erect over my grave, a suitable marker and charge the expenses thereof as part of the administration of my estate. SECOND: I hereby give and bequeath unto my sister, MARY HEINE, who now resides with me, all the household furniture belonging to me and located in the property I now occupy as a home, in the Village of Hampshire, and in addition thereto, the sum of Two Thousand (2,000) Dollars to be paid to her by my Executor within one year from the date of my death. In this connection, I have heretofore deeded to my said sister, all my interest in my above mentioned home, which deed is hereby ratified and confirmed. THIRD: I hereby give and bequeath unto my brother, G. F. KIRCHHOFF, all interest which I may have in and to the firm of KIRCHHOFF BROTHERS, being a co-partnership existing between myself and my said brother, G. F. KIRCHHOFF, to be his absolutely, including all bank accounts, accounts receivable, and any and all other assets thereof. FOURTH: I hereby give and bequeath unto MARY KNIEF, who formerly was a housekeeper for me, the sum of One Thousand (1,000) Dollars, and to MABEL PEARSON, who also at one time kept house for me, the sum of Five Hundred (500) Dollars, said sums of One Thousand (1,000) Dollars and Five Hundred (500) Dollars to be paid to the said MARY KNIEF and the said MABEL PEARSON by my Executor hereinafter named, within one year after my death. FIFTH: All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, whether real, personal or mixed, and whether now owned by me or hereafter acquired, I hereby give, devise and bequeath unto my daughter, FLORENCE WHITELY, now a resident of the City of Denver, in the State of Colorado, to be hers, absolutely. SIXTH: I hereby nominate and appoint, GEORGE SEYLLER, of the Town of Hampshire, Kane County, Illinois, or in the case of his death, resignation or refusal to act hereunder, then H. J. REED, as Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and ask that the said GEORGE SEYLLER, or in the case of his inability, refusal or failure to qualify hereunder, then the said H. J. REED, be allowed to administer hereunder, without giving surety other than his own personal bond.
