HENRY WULF CALLED FOLLOWING STROKE One of Best Known Burlington Railroad Conductors Succumb to Attack of Apoplexy. In Service on Aurora Division Twenty-seven Years - Funeral is Thursday Afternoon. Henry H. WULF, one of the best known and best liked conductors on the Aurora division of the Burlington, died of apoplexy last night at 11 o'clock, at the St. Charles hospital to which he had been rushed after being taken with a stoke earlier in the evening. He was 55 years old and had been a conductor for 27 years. He was active in the freight service up to the time of his death. The decedent was born May 7, 1859, in Aurora, and lived here all his life, He entered the service of the railroad as a brakeman on April 26, 1884. A little more than three years later, on Aug. 10, 1887, he was promoted to the position of conductor. He was known as one of the best conductors in the service and was always popular with his associates. He was famous for his good nature. In Charge of a train he was always reliable. He is survived by his wife Mary, and two sons, Clarence and William, and several sisters in the West. His home was at 54 North Fourth street. The funeral will be held from Trinity Episcopal church Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev, F. E. Brandt officiating. The Aurora O. R. E., of which he was member will be attendance.
