EDWIN SANDERS Taken from the Aurora Beacon News, 26 Nov 1915 Edwin SANDERS, formerly of Kendall County, died at his residence, 374 Oak avenue, Aurora, yesterday morning at 8 o'clock. He was born in Birmingham, England, Feb. 11, 1849 and came to America with his parents in 1856, coming to Illinois in 1858. He leaves besides his wife [Frances Amelia VAN HOUTEN], one daughter, Mrs. W.H. DANNEWITZ of Aurora, and five sons, Elmer D. SANDERS of Vancouver, Wash., Frederick B. SANDERS of Glen Ellyn, Glen C. SANDERS of Portland, Oregon, Francis E. SANDERS of Pocatello, Idaho, and Hugh A. SANDERS of Aurora, also a sister, Mrs. Chester S. PRINE of Aurora and two brothers, George SANDERS of Clifton, Illinois and Henry SANDERS of McCool Junction, Nebraska. The funeral will be private at the residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Friends desiring to view the body may do so at the residence Saturday afternoon from 2 to 4 o'clock. There will be a short service at the cemetery also. Interment will be at the Oak Grove cemetery, Bristol.
