MRS C C SMITH Take from the January 13, 1937 Aurora Beacon News Mrs. SMITH's Death To the younger people of the city to read of the death of Mrs. C. C. SMITH, is to have the impression of a woman who has lived in Aurora for years. To a woman who has worked upon a newspaper for years, it is a reminder of past days when Dr. and Mrs. C. C. SMITH were happy, healthy people, extremely kind to a working woman. Their lovely home in South Lincoln Avenue was always a pleasure, nor forgetting their very beautiful flower garden, and they were most generous with their flowers. This death of Mrs. SMITH leaves but one of the four "BRADY girls," daughters of an Aurora pioneer. This last sister, Mrs. C. H. HARING, lives in Downer place. One of the sisters married the late W. S. BEAUPRE, whose daughter, Mrs. Olive Beaupre MILLER of the "Book Shop" lives in Chicago and attended the funeral services. Another daughter, Mrs. Charles POWELL, lives in Aurora. The remaining sister married the late J. J. FISHBURN, whose daughter, Kitty, married William F. FOWLER and lives in Aurora. One of Mrs. HARING's children, Mrs. J. C JAMES, lives in Aurora.
