JOHN C STRAUSBAUGH FORMER AURORA MAN DIES AT AGE OF 83 John C. STRAUSBAUGH, 83, formerly of 1350 Monona Street, died Wednesday at the Bethany Terrance Convalescent Home in Morton Grove. He was born near Rushville on Decembe 12, 1887. Mr. STRAUSBAUGH was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Aurora. During World War I he organized the John Strauss Orchestra which played in the Mississippi River Valley. He later lived in Alaska. He moved to Aurora in 1947. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Bertha REID STRAUSBAUGH and by a niece. Memorial services will be held in the chapel of the Bethany Terrance Home Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Contributions in Mr. STRAUSBAUGH's memory may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church of Aurora.
