HIRAM C. STONE

Death of H.C. STONE Nov 17.

After an illness of many months, Hiram C. STONE passed away at his home,
Nov. 17th, 1913 at 3 p.m. in North Washington avenue, Batavia, Ill.

Deceased was 81 years old, was born in Pennsylvania. He came to Batavia
nearly 50 years ago and this has been his home ever since. He was for 30
years faithful sexton of East Batavia cemetery.

For one term he served as collector of the Town of Batavia.

Deceased survived by the following children: Frank, Charles, Walter, Allie and Woodrow STONE and Mrs. George POPE, Chicago and Mrs. E. R. BROWN of Oregon.

One sister of San Juan, Calif. also survives him.  His wife and two daughters were deceased some years ago.

Funeral at his late home Wednesday afternoon, Nov 19th, Rev. J.D. Leek
officiating.

Interment in East Side cemetery.
