James Richard RUSSELL Sr., 65, of Courtland, Ill., died Wednesday in Elgin,
Kane Co, Illinois.

He was a native of Louisville, Jefferson Co, Kentucky, an Army veteran and a
member of Church of St. Mary's in Sycamore, III.  Survivors: his wife, Mary Francis RUSSELL; sons James R. Jr. and Scott RUSSELL; brothers Kenneth, Leroy and Denis RUSSELL; sisters Carolyn WILLIAMS and Kathryn YORK; and seven grandchildren.  

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, Arch L. Heady Hikes Point, 4109 Taylorsville Road.
Burial: Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson Co, Kentucky. Visitation:
5-8 Sunday.
