JAMES STERLING POLLOCK Mr. James Sterling POLLOCK, beloved husband and father, 68, of Aurora, died Saturday, Sept. 26 at Copley Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 17, 1913, in Aurora where he remained a lifetime resident. Mr. POLLOCK was employed at Commonwealth Edison, retiring in 1975 after 36 years of service. Mr. POLLOCK, a Presbyterian Elder, was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International; the 700 Club; and the First Presbyterian Church, as well as many other Christian organizations. He was a charter member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church where he served for 25 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Kay POLLOCK of Aurora; one daughter, Mrs. R. Budd (Susan) WORMLEY and one grandson, Adam WORMLEY, both of Oswego. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Sterling POLLOCK, and one sister, Helen. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the First Presbyterian Church. Pastor Ed Houk and John Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Dieterle Memorial Home. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church or the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International.
