JOHN OLHABER Taken from the June 2, 1956 Daily Courier News John A. OLHABER, 75 of 472 S. Liberty St, life-long resident, died early this morning in Sherman Hospital. Born here on May 2, 1881 he was the son of John and Caroline SCHULTZ OLHABER. For many years he was employed as a millwright by the Elgin National Watch Co. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical & Refored church. Surviving are his widow, Emma KLAWITER BAHNFLETH OLHABER; two brothers, Leon OLHABER of Huntley and Walter OLHABER of Elgin; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Mable) STEINIGER and Mrs. John (Anna) SPONHOLTZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mrs. Alma YURS and by three brothers, Charles, William and Ed OLHABER.
