CHRIST OLHABER Taken from the May 20, 1913 Daily Courier News Christ OLHABER died at his home at 630 Wilder St. at 9:30 p.m. After an illness of four months. He was 60 years old. Mr. OLHABER was born in Zussow Pommern, Germany, October 2, 1853. With his parents he came to this country about 33 years ago. For 22 years he was connected with the Chicago, Milwauke and St. Paul railroad and for the last nine years he had been employed at Borden's Condensed Milk factory. Survived by a widow, four sons, John, William, George and Edward all of Elgin, two daughters, Bertha of Junta, Colo. and Mary of Elgin, his father and brother, Fred, of Bensonville, IL, a brother John of Elgin, a sister Mrs.Fred WIENHOLTZ of Elgin.
