GUSTAV KIRCHOFF (Hampshire) Gustav F. Kirchoff, 70, of Hampshire, died on New Year's Eve in Sherman Hospital, Elgin, following a brief illness. He was born at Franklin Park on Nov. 3, 1869, the son of Henry and Mary Franzen KIRCHOFF. He came to Hampshire in 1896 and had been associated with his brother Herman in the Kirchoff Lumber business for more than 40 years. He retired several years ago. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary HEINE of Hampshire; four brothers, Albert of Franklin Park, Robert and Frank of Chicago and Carl of Oak Park. He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers. Services were held at 2 this afternoon from the Evangelical United Brethren church, the Rev. H.E. Kasch, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was in Hampshire Center cemetery.
