HENRY C HOPP Taken from the December 24, 1946 Daily Courier News Henry C. HOPP 63, died at his home 159 Orchard St., last night. Born in Dundee, May 21, 1883, he received his education in that community and at the Union country school and lived his entire life in Elgin and the nearby vicinity. For the last 30 years he had made Elgin his home where he had been employed by the Elgin National Watch Co. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Luth. Church. Survivors include his widow, Emma WIENHOLTZ HOPP; two daughters, Mildred ANDRESEN and Irene GENZ both of this city; seven brothers, John HOPP of Algonquin, Walter HOPP of Beloit, Wis., Frank , George and Otto HOPP of Marengo and Emmett and Arthur HOPP of Dundee; one sister, Mrs. Emma WILKINS. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
