LEONARD GENZ

Lenoard W. GENZ, 82 of Elgin died Saturday, Feb 27 at his home. He was born Nov. 19 1910 in Gilberts, the son of Gustav and Emma SCHULTZ GENZ. Worked at Elgin National Watch Co for 40 years and was well known in the area as an upholsterer. Surviviors include his wife of 60 years, Irene; three daughters, Lylas RICHOZ of Carpentersville, Phyllis (James) DOSS of Lebanon N.J., and Ruth (James) SMITH of Elgin; a daughter in law, Gail GENZ of Elgin; a sister, Marie BENDEWALD of Elgin; a stepsister, Evelyn SCHULTZ of Elgin; a sister in law, Mildred ANDRESEN. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother; a son, Robert F. in 1990; a grandson, Ronald E. DOSS in 1972; a son in law, Richard RICHOZ in 1992; and four brothers.
