Helen (BERGER) GLOSSOP

Mrs. Helen P. GLOSSOP, 88, of Aurora, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 1994, at Mercy Center Hospital. She was born July 24, 1905, in Aurora.

Mrs. GLOSSOP was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, the Lydia Circle and the Young at Heart, both of the church.

Survivors include her husband, Charles R. GLOSSOP of Aurora; three children, Lynn MEYER of Aurora, Lorraine SCHNACK of Edwardsville, Illinois and Florence (Don) CAHILL of Montgomery; nine grandchildren, Randall (Ellie) SCHNACK of Oak Park, John (Debra) SCHNACK and Lori Ann SCHNACK, both of Edwardsville, A. J. SCHNACK of Los Angeles, California, Vicki CAHILL of Bellevue, Washington, Colleen CAHILL of Aurora, Cynthia (Gary) PARKER of Montgomery, Tracy (Shirley) CAHILL of Montgomery and Michael (Susan) CAHILL of North Aurora; 12 great grandchildren, Breann, Ian, Nicholas, Eric and Sam SCHNACK; Andrea PARKER, Brandon, Adam, Derek, Wayne, Virginia and Paul CAHILL; one special person Gudrun (John) Shoup of Mandenville, Louisiana and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. GLOSSOP was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Barbara BERGER; 17 brothers and sisters; her sons, Robert and Charles GLOSSOP; three great grandchildren, Jera, Carabeth and Jonathan SCHNACK.

Funeral services will be held at St. Pauls Church on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with rev. John Fair officiating. Burial will be at St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Healy Chapel on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and then on Saturday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church where the body will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until funeral hour.

Contributions may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church or to the Young at Heart f the Church.
