COPELIN Sarah Jane, wife of Johnson COPELIN, died at her home, 340 North Root street, at 5:40 o'clock Tuesday afternoon after an illness of about 13 months, aged 53 years, 7 months and 7 days. Deceased was born in New York state, August 10th, 1849, and came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph STUBBS, to this city about fifty years ago. Nineteen years ago she was united in marriage to Mr. COPELIN and with him went to Indianapolis some years later where they lived for about 10 years. She returned to Aurora some three years since. Her husband and one son Edwin COPELIN employed in the Q shops, survive her, besides two sisters, Mrs. J.W. GREENAWAY and Miss Mary STUBBS, and three brothers, Frank, Dr. E.W. and James G. STUBBS, all of this city. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the late home at 2 o'clock and will be private, only intimate friends being invited.
