ANTHONY BOYLE Taken from the Aurora Beacon News, 5 Jun 1959 Anthony BOYLE, Ex- Engineer, Passes Away An ex-Burlington enginee, Anthony J. BOYLE, 68; 519 Benton St.died Thursday at Copley Memorial hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1891 in Ottawa. Mr.BOYLE was employed by the C.B & Q for 49 years until an illness in 1958. He was past president of the Burlington Veterans' Association and a member of the American Train Dispatchers Association.A resident of St. Mary's Parish, he belonged to the Holy Nane Society, Knights of Columbus, Aurora Council 736, the Irish Fellowship club and Aurora Moose club, Lodge 400: Surving are his wife, Genevieve, a son, Commander Anthony R BOYLE, a Navy flyer, South Weymouth, Mass; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd ( Eva) BROOKS and Mrs. Edward (Rita) KURNS, Geneva, and Mrs. Walter (Ruth) SCHWARTZ, DesMoines, Iowa; four brothers, James J.; Harry J.and Leo J., Ottawa, William J., Chicago, and 17 grandchildren. Three brothers proceded him in death. Funeral arrangement will be announced later by Corcoran Funeral home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. tonight.
