JOHN BAUMGARTNER

John BAUMGARNTER, 78 years old died in Sherman hospital last night. He was born in Switzerland on Aug 12, 1860 and came to this country in 1907. Mr. BAUMGARTNER operated farms in the Elgin region for 20 years, retiring in 1927. Besides the widow Mrs. Rosetta BAUMGARTNER, five sons, Earnest, Gotfried and Werner of Elgin, Fred of Lake Forest and John of California, nine daughters, Mrs. Rose SERDAR, Mrs. Martha NELSON, Mrs. Anna NELSON, Mrs. Mary MADSEN, Mrs. Lena GIERENS, and Miss Hattie BAUMGARTNER all of Elgin, Mrs. Bertha SUTTER of Switzerland, Mrs. Emma SCHUETZ of Glencoe and Mrs.Frieda LEONARD of California. There are also a brother and three sisters residing in Switzerland. A daughter Mrs.Louise Stambezze died in 1912.
