ERNEST BAUMGARTNER

Ernest BAUMGARTNER 78 of Russellville, Ark died Dec 30 following a short illness. Mr. BAUMGARTNER was born in Switzerland May 10, 1884 and came to Elgin in 1906. He was engaged in farming until he retired to arkansas in 1950. Surviving are his widow Anna; nine sisters, Mrs. Martha PAULOS, Mrs. Mary MADSEN, Mrs. Lena VEGE and Mrs. Hattie DUEWEL all of Elgin. Also Mrs. Bertha JAGGI of Switzerland, Mrs. Rose BURREN of Wickenburg, Arizona, Mrs. Anna REUTER of Chicago, Mrs. Emma SCHUETZ of Deerfield and Mrs. Freda LEONARD of Winslow Arizona. Also three brothers, Gotfried and Werner of Elgin and John of Delano Calif. Burial will be in russellville, Ark.
