CECELIA BULGER Taken from the Elgin Courier News; Monday January 4, 1937 p. 9 Funeral services for Mrs. Cecelia BULGER, 80 years old, widow of James BULGER, who died Saturday afternoon at her home, 1015 Bellevue ave., will be held tomorrow morning at 9 from the Marsh & Conn funeral home, and at 9:30 from St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening at the funeral home, where friends may call. Mrs. BULGER was born at Neenah, Wis. on Nov. 3, 1856, and had been a resident of Elgin for 30 years. She was a memeber of St. Mary's church and of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Emma CROWLEY of Chicago, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sadie BULGER of Elgin, a grandson, William BULGER of Elgin, two sisters, Mrs. Kate SCHNEIDER of Denver, Colo. and Miss Nellie HAYES of Elgin, and three brothers, John HAYES of Michigan, and Thomas HAYES and Andrew HAYES residing in Oregon. Mrs. BULGER was a pensioner of the Elgin National Watch Co., where she was employed for 18 years in the spring room.
